Went to the semi final of the Linlithgow Rose talent contest and was informed I am in the heat on 24 April so spent the night checking out the competition! All the finalists were singers.

I was actually a little relieved because I have taken a slight cold and it would have made Purple Rain (Prince) difficult at the outro high vocal.

I also learned that the format for the semi final was for only three songs, not the four I had rehearsed!

I was going to run with -

1. Alright Now (Free) 2. Purple Rain (Prince) 3. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (Aerosmith) 4. Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)

I have rethought my strategy though and I am going to go with -

1. You Shook Me All Night Long (AC DC) 2. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (Aerosmith) 3. Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)

Here's hoping.

25/04/09 - Secured a place in the final of the talent contest. Although it was very hard work I got there so the final is on 08 May........again, here's hoping!! The Britain's Got Talent TV show contestant Susan Boyle (check her out on Google) is going to be there!
